Maria Avram is a contemporary stained glass artist whose work explores how light, form, and space can transform the experience of a contemporary interior.

Her journey began as an intuitive exploration of symbols, meaning, and the relationship between art and perception. With a background in Law and management consultancy, she brings structural precision and analytical discipline to a practice grounded in creative freedom. Her work draws inspiration from nature, symbolism, cultural traditions, and the emotional relationship between art and its surroundings.

Her early fascination with the Fine and Decorative Arts led her to explore the rich tradition of stained glass, particularly the luminous language developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. From this foundation, her practice has evolved into a contemporary language of handcrafted stained glass, light, form, and space.

Her artistic practice extends beyond stained glass to contemporary sculpture and oil painting, creating an ongoing dialogue between texture, form, and light. Through Marie ART Gallery, she presents original, handcrafted artworks created as singular expressions of light, form, symbolism, and space.

Each artpiece is designed to bring balance and resonance, offering a transformative, experiential and, ultimately, a rare, one-of-a-kind creation.
